Craiova becomes, for the first time, the host of an exceptional artistic show: Van Gogh – The Immersive Experience, a multimedia exhibition that has captivated audiences in the world's major cities, including Paris, New York and London.
Starting with March 21, 2025, art lovers will be able to live a unique experience, where the famous works of Vincent van Gogh come to life through 360° projections, ambient sound and virtual reality. The event will be hosted in a specially designed space in Craiova, which will transform the paintings into interactive landscapes, where visitors can "enter" the world of the Dutch artist.
The show offers an in-depth foray into Van Gogh's life and work, with impressive projections covering the walls, floor and ceiling, accompanied by narrative passages and music. Visitors will be able to discover details about famous paintings such as Starry night, SELF PORTRAIT or Wheat wool with crows, but also about the artist's struggle with his own mental health.
Location: The event will take place on Boulevard Ilie Balaci no. 6, Craiova, near the Multipurpose Hall.
