Plot and theme
The story centers around the Miller family, whose lives are turned upside down after their 13-year-old son, Jamie, is arrested on charges of murdering his classmate, Katie Leonard. The series explores the emotional and social impact of this tragedy, focusing on the parents’ grief, community reactions and the investigative process.
